智商不足的強盜土匪

在 的 Blog 上，A U.S. National Firewall 這篇引用了 Grokster Ruling Begins the Good Fight 這篇文章裡的這段話：

This seems like a really bad idea:

Government has the right -- even the responsibility -- to see that its laws and regulations are enforced. The Internet is no exception. When the Internet is being used on American soil, it should comply with American law. And if it doesn't, then the government should be able to step in and filter the illegal sites and activities.

我一開始想到的是共產主義 (如同那篇文章下面 comment 所提到的)，不過最近讀完 的 (中譯《一九八四》) 後，我覺得這種想法跟共產主義差多了... 這種想法比較像是智商不足的強盜土匪擁有的思考邏輯。

剛剛又看到 米國FCC網站被XXA夢入侵!! 這篇： 盜用 的圖像，作者向 反應後， 完全不理...

我覺得自從 上台後，美國政府愈來愈讓人失望了... 本來我還在猜 Bush 的智商有沒有 60，現在應該可以再往下調整不少。(不過想到這傢伙還要混三年就讓人頭痛...)

OpenSSH 4.2 重大更新

在 上的 OpenSSH 4.2 released 看到 OpenSSH 4.2 的消息了，這次主要的幾個大的改變是：

  • [Security] 將 zlib 壓縮的功能延後到認證完後才會使用。應該是改變 uid 後，我猜是避免再次發生 zlib security issue 造成出包 XD
  • 將 ssh-genkey 產生 RSA/DSA key 的金鑰長度從 1024bits 上升到 2048bits。

其他的... 看起來對我不太重要 XD

超高速行動通訊技術

在 上的 Experimental 4G Phone Service Faster Than Cable 看到日本 示範了超高速傳輸的行動通訊技術，可以在靜止時達到 1Gbps，或是在移動的時候達到 100Mbps (沒講多快？)，原報導在：4G prototypes reach blistering speeds。

預定在 2010 年可以看到：

Some countries have already begun cooperating on such standards. Japan and China signed a memorandum on 24 August to work together on 4G. NTT DoCoMo hopes to launch a commercial 4G network by 2010.

到時候不知道有沒有應用可以在上面用... (像是一直在推動的網路電視，實在不怎麼看好 :p)
