Google Chrome 要推動預設使用 HTTPS 連線

Google Chrome 從 90 版要把 https:// 變成網址輸入時的預設值：「A safer default for navigation: HTTPS」。Hacker News 上的「Chrome’s address bar will use https:// by default (chromium.org)」也可以看一下。

也就是說，沒有輸入 schema 的網址，預設會用 https:// 方式連線，以往這點需要透過 HTTPS Everywhere 這種套件，然後開啟「Encrypt All Sites Eligible」這樣的參數，像是這樣：

Galileo 系統啟用

由歐盟主導的 Galileo 系統宣布啟用，提供早期服務 (Early Operational Capability)：「Galileo navigation satellite system goes live」。預定的 30 顆衛星已經打了 18 顆上去：

At this point, 18 of the planned 30 satellites are already in orbit.

在一般的使用下精確度可以到 4 公尺，相較於 GPS 是 15 公尺高出不少：

Using GPS, private users can navigate with a precision of up to 15 meters (m). Galileo offers a precision of up to 4m for its fully open service.

而商用與軍用可以到公分等級：

Commercial users and official government services can even receive a precision of a few centimeters. This is important, for example, for fully or partially automated planes, cars or ships.

之後應該會有同時支援兩套系統的設備出來... 手機應該也會有？

用鍵盤翻頁 (Navigation Shortcuts)

在 Google Chrome 上裝了「Navigation Shortcuts」：

快速鍵包含這些：

  • Space Bar - navigates to the next page when scrolled to the bottom
  • Shift + Space Bar - navigates to the previous page when scrolled to the top
  • Ctrl + Right - navigates to the next page
  • Ctrl + Left - navigates to the previous page
  • Ctrl + Up - navigates to section's index page
  • Ctrl + Shift + Up - navigates to the top page

其實讀的就是 HTML header 裡面的 rel tag。拿來讀 AWS 的文件還蠻方便的...
