幹壞事是進步最大的原動力
Tumblr 現在的老大 Matt Mullenweg 在 Twitter 上提到了 Tumblr 打算要支援 ActivityPub 的消息：
We are mostly dealing with the waves of new users right now and keeping everything scaling but interop and activitypub are ASAP.

如果支援的話，對於 ActivityPub 這個圈子會是個大消息，等於是有個大平台跳進去支援...
Verizon 一直在把 Yahoo! 手上比較有價值的資產賣掉，總算是輪到 Tumblr 了，這次是賣給了 Automattic，也就是 WordPress.com 營運的公司。
Verizon 已經發新聞稿了：「Verizon Media announces sale of Tumblr to Automattic」，Tumblr 的 staff blog 上也發表了：「Hello Tumblr ? Today, Tumblr’s owner, Verizon...」，但 Automattic 這邊還沒看到：「Features, news, and more: See what’s been going on in Automattic’s world.」。
金額不確定多少，但感覺應該算是好事？不知道之前的 porn content 會不會回流...
Automattic 就是 WordPress.com 背後營運的公司，訪談的部份內容在這邊：「Automattic Hits 300 Million Unique Visitors, Roughly $10 Million In Revenue」。
目前 Automattic 有 74 個人，而 TechCrunch 從「可靠的來源」知道每個月收入大約是 USD$1M，大多數都是從付費服務而來，目前已經 break-even。
